A Breakthrough: The First-Ever Backless Bra!

cato elaine

Just in time for spring, Maidenform are introducing the first-ever backless bra, promising to offer women of all sizes the chance to feel “sexy, feminine and supported – all at once!” Finally! A bra that also gives us large busted ladies the opportunity to wear backless dresses without feeling self conscious. Let’s face it, I have a big bust and can testify that tape just doesn’t work, hence why many of my sexy dresses just sit in the wardrobe gathering dust.
Created by single mother Elaine Cato and showcased last summer, on the reality show, “American Inventor” , Maidenform (spotting a market for the bra) rushed to bring Cato’s concept to life. The Breakthrough™ Backless Bra is seamless, flexible, soft, and offers full support through the use of silicone wiring.
The Breakthrough™ Backless Bra hits comes in black or beige and hits shelves in mid-April. If you’re as excited as I am and can’t wait, head over to maidenform.co.uk or maidenform.com to pre-order yours now. The backless bra retails at£24 in the UK and $25 in the U.S.

OMG that is genius. I’m a little confused and concerned about the support, but the idea of a backless bra is just so exciting. Just in time for spring/summer!

Actually they say that it will yield the same result as deregulation, after a few boom-and-bust-cycles. So don’t bother to deregulate.

Cato has opposed the PATRIOT Act and other abuses of our civil liberties for 7 years. I am surprised to see them throw in the towel. Please contact them to let them know how you feel about this piece of excrement published in their name.

It makes sense, unfortunately — it was a purely political (reputation politics) decision; the CATO Institute is trying very hard to be taken seriously. And the individual who advocate the declassification of “Project Mystique” or whatever it was called are typically known as tinfoil-hatters.We L(l)ibertarians have too many of them to be comfortable around ‘em.

bu-bu-but they’re Libertarians! they must on principle do the right thing whether or not it benefits the wealthy elites who pay their checks! or else they’re not Libertarians! Just like how no Libertarian can be racist, cause Ron Paul says so!

Yea that is the problem with freedom of speech - it does not really exist in a vacuum. We are still influenced by the whims of what our fellows carbon based life forms will think of us. Now if we were Cylons….
